Visiting Milan Design Week 2012

After several months of preparation the time has come to show our unique design in Milan. During this year’s Design Week on 17-22 April we were present in several locations!

Our exhibitions took place in Superstudio 13, Salone Internazionale del Mobile and Zona Tortona and turned out to be extremely popular among the media, as well as thousands of individual visitors, who wished to witness the debut of the latest achievements of design, art and technology during the spectacular event. This was the first time any Polish company exhibited simultaneously in so many locations, especially in cooperation with such renowned companies as Casamilano and Matrix International. It generated even more interest than any of the exhibitions which took place in the previous years.

But the most attended stand was the one in Superstudio 13, where Planika has presented an entirely new line of modern portable bio fireplaces – Pyramid designed by Planika Studio, as well as a new version of our famous Fire Line Automatic- the Fire Line Automatic Corner. The final effect was absolutely stunning and resulted in many words of appreciation among numerous specialists of the industry, which is an undeniable success for Planika and an unforgettable experience for all of the guests.

Planika Fires Products E-catalog 2011

Fire Line Automatic is the latest product by Planika designed primarily for architects and interior designers. The versatile, linear burner can mount into a wall, onto a shelf, or used as a see-through or fee-standing fireplace. Fire Line Automatic is a completely safe, UL compliant , CE certified device. The appliance is fully automatic with a large LED display and can be operated with a remote control. Additionally there is a 4-degree flame regulation option. The burner is made of stainless, acid proof steel with a powder coated base.   The standard model comes with a flame of 31.5” with the total device of 39” in length. Burning time with these parameters comes to well over ten hours which sets a new record in the linear burner, biofireplace market. This is attributed to a technology, where only the fuel vapour is being burned, thus, optimizing the burning process. The technology is also one of the safest as there is no direct contact between the flame, high temperatures and the fuel. Electronic safety sensors control the device at all times when working or in standby mode. The appliance is shock-proof and CO2 sensitive and it will react to any seismic activity, movement or the raise in the CO2 concentration in a room. In case of any disturbances there is a warning signal and an alert appearing on the display is shown and the fire is extinguished automatically in an instant. Fire Line Automatic provides unlimited possibilities of applications. Without a necessity for a chimney, it is a completely universal device that can be placed in any room with ventilation. It can be recessed into a wall, or purchased together with a steel casing allowing for installation into any material. Other options include incorporating the Fire Line Automatic into the Aquario, a free-standing elegant see-through fireplace or Duo Fire, a contemporary set of low tables for living room area. The length of Fire Line Automatic can be ordered to measure from 31” up to 62”. There is also a possibility of combining two or more pieces to achieve an extended fireplace, where all appliances can be operated with just one remote control. Fire Line Automatic is the safest, most universal, and user friendly fireplace on the market.
